The First view as you round the corner into Irvinebank
Freethinker Cottage is a typical of Australian prefabricated small homestead circa: 1940's. It was one of the first mining leases in Irvinebank registered in 1884. The cottage is privately owned and is only open to the public at the discretion of the owner. The owner of Freethinker has also collected a fascinating array of farming and mining equipment used in the early 20th century and has set up a fully-functional blacksmith's workshop.
